I just found out that my best friend is a lesbian. She wants me to go with her and do things with her but I have a boyfriend and don’t have any intentions to be with a female. Someone please help me.

If she’s your friend, it shouldn’t matter. If she’s attracted to you and you aren’t attracted to her, a simple “thanks, but no” generally does the trick. This girl was your best friend before you found out she was gay, why should that change now?

If she is your friend she should respect that you do not want to have a physical relationship with her. If she is just coming out, she may be a little unsure or scared and may be looking for your support as her friend.
If you can support her as a friend, do so. She’ll need someone to talk to, but, again, you do not have to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, and she should respect that.

How old are you? Just because you found out your best friend is a lesbian doesn’t mean she has cooties or she turned into an alien. She’s still your best friend, don’t freak out about nothing, and don’t treat her any different.
If she does have a crush on you and starts making moves then tell her that you’re not interested and it makes you uncomfortable. Homosexuals DO and CAN have straight friends of the same gender, just like I’m sure you have guy friends you don’t find attractive or like in that way.

It really shouldn’t matter friendship wise. If she’s really your friend then she will respect the decision about you not wanting to have any kind of relationship with her…and well, if she doesn’t respect that, then I would say it’s time to find new friends…
Friends should respect each other and the decisions they make.

And this is a problem because….
If she is attracted to you in a sexual way and you are not feeling the same, then there could be a problem. if you both agree that you want to be friends and not lovers then you don’t have a problem. My best friend was Gay too. he dated men, and I dated women. We even went out on dates together. Our friendship was something pure, like any hetro friendship. I hope she remains your friend.

If she just wants to be friends let her! I guess she’s your bestfriend and she’d respect your feelings you have with your bf already, relax and take it easy, if things get out of hand let her know where to get off!
