Yes I think she is ,any writer cannot write events and stories unless he or she have some experience in that event,and if so,what is the problem with Kris Radish if she is lesbian or not?That is her specila life what we are interested in is her books

She is a lesbian from what I can understand. She does have teenage children but her partner lives with them. Here is an article about her work and her interests. Hope this helps.
