In my Bible it states that if you are that way, you have an affliction and only God will help you. I’m really trying to help you.

Thas not true. I am neither one of those but I can tell you that God says no sin is greater than the other. Wether you murder your parents or do a man when your a man thats still sin to him and every soul may seek forgiveness. You may not be correct in your actions, you may not follow all the laws of god, but you can still believe. God says that taking the same sex to bed together is a sin and he also says that gossip is a sin but nine out of ten times i bet you do that, so what makes you or anyone else better than the other. If you are gay or a lesbain, to me, that is your sin, you will answer to god just like me for my sins. Which is greater? How can god put a scale on how bad you hurt him? A sin is just that, a sin to god. Worldly pleasures are just worldly pleasures. Just try and live your life as correct as possible for god and it shouldn’t matter if you’re gay or a lesbain. Just let him know you believe and ask him to live in your heart. If you truely except him than the lord will help you discover who he has planned for you to love.

No, there are many gay Christians and gay Jews, and there are many ministries that cater to gay people, as well as Christian faiths that accept them. There is no one way to interpret the Bible.
Personally I don’t follow the Bible, nor do I believe in its depiction of God. I was raised without religion, my parents feeling that I would make any religious choice when I felt I needed it. That freedom from ingrained dogma has allowed me to compare and contrast many of the world religions and I don’t think any of them have described God or spirituality right just yet. Religions are rather like the blind men and the elephant, each describing only a portion of the whole.
