Why are their gay people?

I don’t have ANY problem wioth gay/lesbian. I always wondered what made them that way? Is it because a guuy knows what he wants and he is afraid that the girl(s) may not give them that, so he decides to go to men because they all want pretty much the same thing?

It’s nothing wrong to be a gay/lesbian because it’s the way they are. It’s not because they are afraid of anything. They have feeling with same-sex people. That’s it. They are just human being like you are. They live, work, eat, sleep, cry, laugh just as others.

PS: I’m wondering why America doesn’t have serious classes in high school to teach about homosexuality. Some American still think it’s an abomination!

  10. SPEAKING AS A LESBIAN, LET ME TELL YOU – IT’S NOT A DECISION!!!!. I NEVER ONCE CHOSE TO BE A LESBIAN. IT’S NOT AS IF I WOKE UP ONE MORNING & SAID “OH I THINK I’LL BE A LESBIAN”. THAT’S ABSURD. HONESTLY, I BELIEVE I WAS BORN THIS WAY, & IT’S BECAUSE OF GENES & HORMONES, & THE ORIENTATION IS ALREADY DEVELOPED BY BIRTH. THERE’S BEEN SEVERAL STUDIES DONE…GONNA PROVIDE FOR YOU A LINK…

  12. Well, I’m a lesbian so maybe I’m better suited to respond to this. I never chose to be gay. I never wanted it. I wanted to be straight like my sisters and everyone else I knew. At a very young age I found myself attracted to women. My earliest memory of my first attraction to the same sex was when I was in the first grade. She was my teacher. However, I didn’t realize I was gay until I was 14 after I realized my friends were beginning to become boy crazy and I wasn’t. I can’t say I was born this way for certain, but I certainly didn’t choose it. I was never attracted to men. Did you sit down one day and say “I think I’ll be str8″? I’m sure you didn’t.

I don’t know if this is the only reason, but one benefit of being gay is that sex doesn’t entail dinner and flowers. In fact, gay guys pursue the CRAZIEST sexual experiences. I mean, they put on latex leotards and have wrestling matches and things like that. I cannot imagine pursuing these kinds of escapades with women (unless I had a ton of money to pay them to PRETEND to be interested in it).

This certainly doesn’t answer the entire question, but it is no doubt a part of the equation.
