Does buying a cookbook off a lesbian couple kinda irk you a bit?

This might sound odd, but a Raw Vegan couple that happen to be lesbians have great insight into the lifestyle…but I can’t get past the Lesbian part…
No, I just expected them to follow a Christian standard lol

  1. No it does not I have some very good friends who are a lesbian couple.
Are you scared if you get the cookbook from them you will turn gay?

  2. ….what does being Lesbian have anything to do with cooking? They are still probably good chefs and make great food for a healthy lifestyle, why would it be any different from buying a cookbook by a straight author?

  3. It’s kind of like, you think it’s ok to be a raw vegan but it’s not ok to be a lesbian. I guess lesbianism does kind of sexually discriminate against men though. Hm….sounds more like a question for LGBT.

  7. You put your money where your mouth is. If you cannot stand their lifestyle then do not give them your money. Find someone with the book and copy what you want.

  8. what the heck? Get your head out of your butt, they are people and they deserve your respect. What if you had red hair and someone decided they didn’t like you because of it? How would that make you feel?

  9. What does their personal life has to do with a cookbook? If the book was about cunnilingus that would be a different story. Go head Google it. :-)

  10. Not in the least. I probably wouldn’t want to buy a book from someone whose politics I disagreed with, but sexual orientation isn’t politics.

I promise you that there isn’t a food on the planet that will make you gay. Buying a cookbook from these folks supports their veganism, not their sex lives.

If you have issues with certain types of relationships, don’t buy books about that type of relationship. If, for example, you think certain kinds of sex are wrong (say, anything other than missionary), don’t buy a sex manual. But a cookbook? That’s just weird.

  11. Are you serious? This might be the most ridiculous question I’ve seen so far, and that says something.
