Honestly, it was pop culture. Queer Eye, Will and grace. Knowing that what I was, was paletable for mass audiences, I was able to make peace in my own mind with who I was and come out of the closet. I was not the self imposed stereotype I had envisioned in my own mind of what a homo was. They were out there and they were good. And now I try to turn other peoples sterotypes around with my life, They see me, I’m a good, likeable, personable, honest guy who happens to be gay. (apparently I’m most people’s token gay) but if I can be proud, out, and a nonthreatening example of a gay guy for a few unexposed people. I’ve helped the community.

My best friend Sonja. Who has always been there for me, and given me advice. She has opened my mind up to many positive things.
