There are organisations for gays, lesbians, coloureds, single mothers, jews. Shouldn’t we be worrying about our hermaphrodite siblings? (Thank goodness for that word!).
Lovely first three replies : keep ‘em coming!
Yes, Prof X, you’re right, I was just kidding – but more to poke fun at so many self-righteous and ridiculous organisations that can actually do more harm than good.
Your info strikes a sober note and I’m sorry if I offended anyone. I wouldn’t allow anyone to bully a hermaphrodite – my love of fun does lead me astray too often, I guess.
Why don’t you start one instead of wait for someone else to do it.

Yes. Intersexed (or DSD) people have several organizations for medical and legal advocacy. The Intersex Society of North America is one such organization.
Current science estimates that one in every two thousand people is born with an intersexual condition.
However, given your comments, I’m guessing that you didn’t actually want to learn something by asking this question, and rather would prefer to remain comfortable in your ignorance.
