How do you tell a lesbian your not interested without offending her?

ive known her for about 3-4 months. She now hangs around with me, but i recently found out she is lesbian by a few of my frineds and i think she likes me. She likes to get close to me and flurt i guess you can say. But i dont know how to bring it up since she hasn’t told me she is Lesbian/bisexual. The last thing i want to do is offend her in any way, so how do i ask her and what do i ask her?

  3. dont say anything… dont hurt her feelings, but i would start talking about this guy that you think is cute, and ask for her advice, on wethere you should ask him on a date or not. see what she says… just be yourself, dont hurt her feelings expecially since you two are friends.

sit her down and tell her what you know, and see what she has to say.

  5. Tell her you heard that she was lesbian or bisexual and ask her if it’s true. If she says, “Yes,” then tell her you’re 100% straight, but you don’t care if she’s lesbian (or bi), that it’s no big deal to you and that you can always be friends. That’s pretty straightforward without being hurtful.

Actually this is gonna be pretty easy…. Just tell her that you heard rumors so you thought you would just come out and ask her instead of just going on hear say…. when she admits it just tell her that thats awsome that she found what she wants and even though you arnt that way and your straight you will still be a good friend to her, she will get the picture that your not interested in anything and she will probably be happy that she doesnt have to worry about loseing a friend if you found out…. ive had tons of friends that are bi and les i just told them hey i respect you and i think your a really cool person to be around just respect that im not that way and ill respect that you are :) They are still a friend no matter how they get their jollies off ;)

Hold conversations with her ALOT about what boys u think r cute and what tv guys u think are hot and so on. This way you r sending the message that YOU LIKE BOYS! You cant really accuse her of hitting on you if she hasnt really done it yet. SO! The only way to really bring it up is start talking about hot boy and so on and ask her which ones she likes???? And if she says JENNIFER LOPEZ ummmmmm then u can feel free to ask! lol Or if u really gotta know say ” Ive heard from a couple people that your into girls- is it true?” You are friends so u should be able to ask her anything right? Either way you should have an answer!!!

…same way you would tell a guy… just be honest and tell her that you aren’t interested in (same sex) relationships and to back off in that aspect.. friends ONLY.

Just because “her” pref. might be (same sex) doesn’t make her unable to accept rejection..you COULD BE leading her on without even knowing it and that’s not good either.

Just tell her that you are ok with her style — but it’s not for you —- kaa peeeesh?

  10. nothing wrong with an intimate girly talk, get some wine and kick the sh*t around, every thing you want to know or say can happen then ,and by the end both of you will know where the other one is coming from

If she hasn’t told you then, yes she may be flirting, but she probably isn’t really that interested beyond being friends. Don’t embarrass yourself, or her, but rejecting her before she has made a ‘pass’. If she was a boy who said he liked you, rather than wanted to date you, would you have the same problem?

Be her friend – which is what she obviously wants – and don’t worry too much.

If she makes a ‘pass’ just be nice about it & tell her you are straight (I am assuming you are so far as you know…?) and see her as a friend & don’t want this to change. She should be ok with this.

Examine your own attitudes though as you didn’t seem to have a problem with her behaviour before you were told she was a lesbian, just afterwards.

  14. Why do you talk about her like she is different. How do you tell a guy you not interested. Well you will tell her the same way and by the way you shouldnt flatter your self so much she proabably dont even like you anyways because she hasnt said anything to you. People are proabably just assuming because she likes girls, but guess what just because someone is a lesbian doesnt mean they like or want every girl in the world. we have taste to and people seem to forget that

me, myself and plenty of life experiences
