i know this isn’t a question, but just i read the most sickning thing EVER! i was on THIS website, and notice a question titled “Should we ban gays from life?” being a GLBT(Gay, Lesbian, Bi-courous, or Transgender) activist, of chorse i’m gonna look into it, and speak my mind. but the best answer had already been chosen. and the answer is what sickened me. Claming to “educate” us all why homo’s are going to hell. Saying that gay’s marrying is the wrongest thing to do. OKay, us gays will go to hell. but us gays well go to hell and be with the ones we love, who is on the same sex ALL THE WAY TO HELL. We’re perfectly happy in hell, because life on earth with all the CHRISTIAN homophobes, we’re ALREADY in hell.
If you believe gay marring in wrong, i respect you for you voice. I’m sorry if i’ve wasted you time, i feel i just had to say something. I’m just asking for others opions, both agreeing and disagreeing with me.

to Just_ME : Yes your friend DID make a mistake. he hade unprotected sex with an infected man. his mistake wasn’t being gay, it was having unprotected sex. and about your ex-gay friends, homosexuality isn’t for everyone, and if they find happiness in being straight, then good for them. I am all for gay marriage. It is really sad that most have to go to another state or country to get married. Even more, I’m ashamed of all those that are afraid of gay marriages. Why? I don’t see how it would affect anyone else for two people, regardless of genders, to get married.

I don’t have a problem with their way of life aslong as they don’t try to bring me into it. I’m not meaning for that to sound rude…I have friends who are gay. I don’t get why christians (or other religions with the same view) must constantly voice their opinion. I think that is part of the problem today. If they would just shut up and get over it the would would be a better place…IMO

One of my best friends was gay (he died from Aids).
There wasn’t any happiness to his lifestyle. His friends were always looking for another 1 night stand. All they ever talked about was sex, and looks and drugs.
My friend admitted to me on his deathbed that he was looking for love, and that he made a huge mistake.
Since then I have met some ex-gays that have gotten out of that life-style and are now happy living straight. Many are now married, have children, etc.
So my question to you is, ask them if being gay is wrong.

As a christian and one who is currently exploring his sexuality issues, I believe that we should be tolerant of all beliefs. Homosexuals are not destined to go to hell any more than someone who steals or tells a lie even a white one. I understand that you are frustrated as am I. I have met many people who are great friends for someone, sometimes their entire lives and then when the person tells them they are gay they stop being friends with them. I believe that we should consider a person’s character over their sexuality when choosing friends. Homosexuality is not something to be frowned up but a celebration of how god made someone different. I do respect the other opinions of sexuality but no negative opinion of a homosexual is a good one. It is hard enough for them to live in a homophobic world without the complete derogatory comments of others. So therefore I must state one must be open minded and no that god loves everyone and that all people sin and homosexuality is not a key factor in someone going to hell. The only aspect i disagree with you on is the statement that you say homosexuals are going to hell because they wont as Jesus died to save everyone not just those who are straight.

NO ONE has the right to judge another. I am a lesbian, and i decided to be a lesbian the same day some one decided to be straight! And, i am Catholic, and that is between God and I. he made me that way that i am. that’s all there is to it. Does it matter that i am gay? Last time i checked i was still human and still an American with the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!!
