Tell her that although you’re flattered, you’re not gay, and as such would like to remain friends with her. Make it clear, however, that you’re not physically interested in her.

well thats a hard situation. i would tell her that i don’t go that way but if she would i would still be her friend. i know its hard to be friends with someone that likes you, but i would just try it out and see what happens.

my very best firends are a gay couple and a lesbian couple. Their personal lives doesn’t make them any less of a friend.

Try to convince this person that homosexuality is wrong and use biblical passages to help. If this person refuses to give up the lifestyle mentioned, you must break off the relationship as this can’t be condoned.

Thank her for being honest, otherwise you wouldn’t have known (and forewarned is forearmed.) But you can tell her that you don’t feel the same way about women. If she is really your friend, she will repsect you.
Now, I don’t know how old you are…. I have heard of some college girls whom they call SLUGs, Selectively Lesbian Until Graduation. They do this to avoid a relationship that could lead to children while they are still trying to finish their degree, but still have sex. It sounds like trying to have everything without having to give up anything.
What is it that makes your friend feel this way? Has she felt this way for a long time? Has someone else suggested to her that she try it and see if she likes it? Has anybody been telling her how natural it is, or that it is nothing to be ashamed of? Do you know if she has any other friends like that? Perhaps they have not been respecting her and letting her develop at her own pace. Perhaps they have been trying to ‘help her along’ a little bit.
