my wife and i are about to try to get pregnant through an anonomous sperm donor bank. she’s the one that’s carrying it (we’re lesbians). she’s been pregnant once, but miscarried at age 17. she has no health problems, but is 6 ft tall, 29 yrs old, and 260 pounds. our doc told us after an exam that we should have no more trouble getting pregnant than if we were a hetero couple doing it the old fashioned way. what are our chances, if we time her ovulation correctly, that we’ll get pregnant on the first home insemination?
