when i was 6 i had a cousin named josh that i used to love and play with all the time. even 10 years later i still remember him fondly. his father (my uncle) was never really in his life so when his mother, who i think i never met, took him away to live with her and her lesbian lover, my uncle didnt really care. he’s about my age, which would make him 16 or 17! i am SOOO desperate to see how he grew up and how he has been. a lot has happened including deaths in the family that he probably doesnt know about. how to break the news?
im bisexual…and i have actually had more lesbian relationships than straight. the problem is that my brother and father are extreamly religious, and are disgusted with gays and lesbians. i dont think i have the bravery to tell my dad but i really want to tell my brother, because we are really close. how do i tell him?

Should I keep my 6 y.o. son from visiting his dad because he let him view lesbian porn?
In the past my son had frequent visits w/his dad-at my discretion. There are no court orders he has always been with me. His father buys him clothes 2x a year and toys @ Christmas & on his birthday. Besides that there is no monetary support & I don’t ask because his father was physically abusive in the past (2 restraining orders and 2 domestic abuse convictions) and hard put to keep a job while he pursues a career in the entertainment industry. I can afford my son and I just want his father out of our lives if he cant be consistently decent.
His father in the past has been violent, emotionally unstable, drinks, smokes pot (and other drugs) and uses profanity in front of his son. But when he is sober he is the best man & dad but these times are so infrequent. Have always thought it important for my son to have a relationship w/his dad as long as it is good for my son. The last straw was my 6 y.o. telling me he watched naked women have sex on tv and in mags. Am I overreacting?
