Why do people think that allowing gay marriage will destroy their own marrage?
Something I’ve never been able to understand is why straight married people say that allowing gay people to share the benefits of marriage will “destroy marriage as a whole”. It’s like they think that if they gay/lesbian couple down the street is allowed to marry, then their own marriage will be destroyed. Can someone explain this to me?
