Okay, if a woman is attracted to straight men she is called a heterosexual and if she is attracted to women she is called a lesbian, but what about women who are attracted to gay men?

For example, I think most people would agree that many gay men have a certain quality in their voice that leads people to suspect their sexual orientation. This is a common stereotype and is prevalent in movies and television.
But I’m wondering if lesbians have an equivalent aspect to their vocal speech. I have never noticed a common trait among lesbians on television or in movies. If anything, possibly a more vulgar way of speaking than straight women, but certainly nothing as common as that gay male vocal quality.
Although the vocal/speech stereotype for gay men isn’t true for every gay man, I do know several that possess it. After talking to some of them, it was clear that they didn’t intentionally alter their speech. On the other hand my “gaydar” has never worked for lesbians unless of course they purposefully put out signals in their clothing, hairstyle or their own admission, but certainly not by their voice alone.
Why do you suppose this is?

why are gay men “gay” and gay women are “lesbian”?
I have been to lots of gay clubs and pubs. the majority of gay men act like normal guys if anything gay men tend to opt for extreme straight looks such as skinheads/bears why then do the lesbians try to make their selves look like guys surely if a woman is attracted to females why would she want to go with a woman who looks like a geezer?
Why are alot of gay men hostile towards lesbians?
