he is the steady-eddie type, she is the passionate one (sometimes w/a little drama) ….. problem is, I connect more with her than with him….but he’s more even-keeled. At times I love her more, at times him….help!!

My best friend and I have been together for almost 10 years. I started having deep feelings for her about a year ago. There is one problem, shes 100% lesbian. She knows how I feel but she also says she loves me too except shes gay. Is there anything I can do? Or is she the one that got away?

I really need advice on this relationship….?
Hi could really use some advice… I’m not sure if I am bisexual or lesbian, I just know I’ve had relationships both with men and woman, but the most intense ones have been with women. Right now I got involved with a really close friend, but she’s just going to turn 17 and I’m 31. That’s my first problem, the big age difference, we don’t care, but I’m sure other people would think it’s sick or something.
I never told my family any of this, but yesterday my mom asked me if I was a lesbian, and if I had a relationship with this “friend” and I just couldn’t deny it to her face. I’m not sure how she’ll handle everything, since I’ve always been her “perfect daughter”.
Now my other problem is, I don’t live in the US, my girlfriend does, and the whole long distance thing is really hard too. People where I live are a lot more close minded than in the US. You don’t usually see girls together, and it’s definitely not socially accepted at all. Any advice would be really appreciated.
